News That Matters Not (NTMN) is one of the leading** news satire websites in India, run mainly by college students since November 2009. We are launching a program named “NTMN-and-Blogosphere Community Program”, dedicated to Indian bloggers. It shall consist of “Public Parody”, a fortnightly contest on our website, aimed at providing budding as well as experienced bloggers a platform to showcase some of their best pieces of writing (featuring satire, sarcasm and humour), and a means to nurture a community among bloggers.
We are determined to spread the understanding of satire among netizens of India. We believe that you also have something to say, and that your satire deserves a larger stage.
Once our program gets underway, we invite you to nominate the best of your posts in such genres. However, we shall accept nominations only from blogs registered with this program. To get registered, please fill this form.
You may nominate the post(s) you write (only in the genres of satire, humour and sarcasm), for this feature. Our editorial team shall go through your work, and we will pick a list of 5-10 posts every fortnight, which we believe deserve a larger stage.
Once you are registered, further details will be sent to you via email in mid-July. Please feel free to reply back to us in case of any doubts and queries regarding this program.
