The Story of this Blog

Hi!

Here, I have attempted to answer two things –

1. Why does this blog has more than one topic or theme?
2. Why do I blog?

Here goes,

When I began blogging, the reason I blogged was to share the solutions of problems, which I had managed to solve, and which, I felt, may help others save their precious time.

(Back then (2008 & 2009) I was into Computers which might be the reason why 14 out of my first 15 posts were on Windows, Games, WordPress. But that is history now.)

Then I realized, I could also help in other areas. Such as-

1.  Certain technical things I learned and which were worth sharing. (Automobiles)
2. Summarizing different perspectives of interesting developments which I compiled after reading through several articles. (This was coz I rarely came across an article which did this)  (Opinion, Business / Economics)

Apart from these, there were a few incidents which prompted me to blog about them and hence I have written quite a number of articles on these. (Life in India, Opinion)

And yea, for fun I sketch a stick figure comic (occasionally) and I also have a separate Photography Blog.

Plus, I have setup an ‘Ideas’ Central’ where I introduce an idea and everyone is allowed to discuss it.

Also, for the past 6 months, I have been trying to improve my writing skill through blogging. So that’s another reason why I blog.

Now, in Aug 2011, I don’t blog about Windows and Games anymore. But, I still write about Life in India, Opinion articles, Business / Economics, Ideas’ Central & WordPress Solutions and  will continue to do so.

Since I work in an engineering firm and do not have a lot of free time at hand, I can’t promise publishing posts on regular intervals. Though, I will do that as and when time permits.
